Based on the Clue board game

Looks nice, but I think this is more of Rarity's type. :XD:

I never understood the original name for Clue...Cluedo? What does that even mean?

The thing about Ms. Peacock is that all descriptions of her I've seen have her as a frumpy old lady, so none of the Mane Six really fit her character wise. As an alternative interpretation though, Dashie is good.

Cluedo is the British/overseas name for Clue I believe.

I know it is, and the original name to boot since that's where it was invented. But I just don't understand what it's supposed to mean.

Maybe I've been pronouncing it incorrectly.

Doesn't really have a dictionary meaning, I guess adding "do" on the end made it less boring

Maybe. I suppose we'd have to ask the creators, and they're long since dead. I'm not going to worry too much about it though.

I've found out what Cluedo means: When it was first patented, Waddingtons' executive, Norman Watson coined the name Cluedo by combining the words Clue and Ludo, Ludo is another popular old british game and Ludo is latin for I Play

Oooooh! That...that actually makes a lot of sense. Neat! The name makes a lot more sense now.
